The Hanna Instruments HI98304 DiST 4 is a high-range electrolytic conductivity (EC) tester that can measure up to 20.00 mS/cm making it ideal for a variety of applications including water treatment, boilers and cooling towers, agricultural including hydroponics, and general laboratory use. The DiST 4 is a rugged and reliable pocket-sized tester for use in the lab or field. This modern looking meter is only 0.7″ thick and extremely ergonomic, fitting comfortably in your hand. The HI98318 has a very large easy to read LCD display that shows both EC or TDS and temperature along with calibration, stability and low battery indicators. All operations are simplified to two buttons. One is for turning the meter on/off and the other for automatic one point calibration.

These testers feature a replaceable pH electrode cartridge with an extendable cloth junction, as well as an EC/TDS graphite electrode. The extendable cloth junction provides an extended electrode life and the replaceable pH cartridge means that this tester does not need to be thrown away when the pH sensor is exhausted.
The EC/TDS conversion factor is user-selectable as well as the temperature compensation coefficient (?).
